Former reality star and keen DIYer Art Green has been busy renovating his forever home in Warkworth with the help of Resene. While the interior transformation was largely undertaken by an army of tradies – who Art was in element working alongside – Art tackled some of the exterior updates himself, which included updating the tired and weathered-looking gutters.
Art lives in a 1990s architectural home with wife Matilda, their children – Milo, Autumn and Penny – and the family’s grey-whiskered Jack Russell, Buster.
The couple had significantly upgraded their previous home, also using the power of Resene products in many places, but needed a change to keep up with the needs of their growing family and the way they wanted to live. Best products for refreshing gutters

As always, preparation is key, and Pre-Coated Steel Primer is Art’s secret weapon here. It’s a single-pack adhesion primer designed for new factory-coated roofing and cladding. It prepares the surface for topcoating with Resene waterborne paints and can also be used as an anti-corrosive primer for new or weathered Zincalume and galvanising. This primer is ideal for maximising heat reflection when topcoating with Resene CoolColour formulas.
